Moderna Services, Inc. Implementation Science Liaison in Princeton, New Jersey

The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for leading regional implementation projects, knowledge dissemination, and integration initiatives that aim to improve patient outcomes and public health management. Within this field-based role, the Implementation Science Lead (ISL) will build the peer-to-peer relationship and identify new partnership opportunities with regional experts within IDNs and academic medical centers. In addition, the ISL will work with diverse professional teams to assess gaps and unmet medical needs and lead collaborative studies, develop evidence-based educational programs, and evaluate the impact of these interventions on patient outcomes and public health objectives. The day-to-day work will include protocol development, analysis, publications, and dissemination programs that aim to close the gap between research and practice and to support the application of evidence-based intervention to impact regional public health management. Here's What You'll Do * Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs at the IDNs and local academic medical centers. * Maintain expertise across relevant disease areas and the regional landscape, including specialties involved in patients' care, scientific gaps, delivery barriers, and local healthcare systems contributing to understanding patient health management. * Identify clinical care gaps and unmet medical needs at the IDN level. * Generate a tailored system-specific strategic plan based on the evidence-to-practice gaps and tactic plan, including strategic engagements and projects. * Manage and execute measurable implementation projects such as behavioral studies, RWE research, and patient health management/ educational programs that address pre-identified clinical care gaps. * Lead collaborative programs to disseminate and support broad integration of evidence-based interventions. * Collaborate with all field-based partners, including Medical Affairs colleagues and commercial teams, while maintaining full compliance with requirements. * Collaborate with US teams on scientific insight gathering to support the scientific communication narrative and contribute to medical affairs strategy and scientific engagement plan. Here's What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications) * Minimum of MSc and/or MPH * Minimum of 4 years of experience in a field-based role in the global pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated successful track record. * Minimum of 3 years of research experience, including concept and protocol development, data analysis, and a proven publication record. * Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.Here's What You'll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications) * Advanced scientific degree preferred - MD, Ph.D., PharmD * Prior vaccines/infectious diseases experience * Strong business acumen and excellent understanding of the US healthcare environment * Candidates will ideally have well-established networks, familiarity with local healthcare systems, and an understanding of decision-making structures at the regional level. * Passion for narrowing the gap between research and practice by implementing customized evidence-based interventions. * Ability to identify opportunities and unmet medical needs and to take ownership of finding creative and innovative solutions. * Extensive experience leveraging data and insights to inform strategies and optimize plans * Proven ability to take the initiative, determine priorities, lead, and execute. * Self-motivation with a track record of excelling in a fast-paced work environment. * Acceptance of challenges with curiosity and drive while remaining positive in the face of obstacles. * Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and ability to work compliantly in a field-based role within the medical organization, as well as interacting with the commercial organization * A desire to make an impact as part of a high-growth, transformational company that is Bold, Relentless, Curious, and Collaborative. * Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% within assigned region. * Must live near a major airport. * Valid Driver's license. * A desire to make an impact as part of a high-growth, transformational company that is Bold, Relentless, Curious, and Collaborative.At Moderna, we believe that when you feel your best, you can do your best work.
