The Collections Specialist is responsible for managing collections from a core group of our clients customers using various communication tools. This role involves making informed decisions regarding order holds/releases and engaging with stakeholders across different levels of the organization, including interactions with the sales team.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities
Collections Management: Effectively collect outstanding payments from designated customer accounts through phone, email, and other communication channels.
Dispute Resolution: Reconcile and resolve chargebacks, disputes, and discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams and customers.
Order Management: Assess and decide on order holds/releases based on payment status and customer relationship considerations.
Communication: Maintain professional and proactive communication with customers, internal departments, and sales teams to address payment issues and ensure smooth collections processes.
System Utilization: Utilize Oracle and other collection systems to optimize cash flow and maintain accurate records of collections activities.
Results-Driven Approach: Drive results by reducing delinquencies and improving collections efficiency, contributing to overall financial goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
4 to 6 years of relevant experience in collections, ideally within the pharmaceutical/medical device industries
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience working with Oracle or similar financial systems
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
