As an Application Specialist II, you will be responsible for supporting dietary supplement application projects by performing a variety of application tasks as required by Global and NAA Technical Marketing, Marketing, and Sales.

Your Key Responsibilities
Work independently on DS application projects and collaborate with senior scientists as needed to meet project requirements.
Participate in application projects under the functional guidance of Application Lab Manager.
Manage day-to-day lab functions like managing the calibration of lab equipment, cleanliness and organization of lab, and data collection and reporting.
Work independently in the dietary supplement lab in conducting research, making prototypes, and running lab machines.
Evaluate dietary products and report results.
Develop prototypes, concepts, blends, and perform stability studies under the supervision of the applications lab manager.

You bring
Master’s degree preferred.
2-4 years’ experience in Formulation work in Pharmaceutical Industry, Dietary Supplement Industry, Food Industry or a related field
Hands-on experience with beverage, gummy, stick packs, tableting and capsules preferred
Working knowledge of regulations pertaining to dietary supplements manufacturing
Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Familiarity with a broad range of physical testing equipment (Hardness tester, sieve analysis, pH, Hunter LAB, etc.).
Travel (domestic and within DSM locations) may be required but minimal (less than 5%).
