Overview

Dignity Health now offers an Education Benefit program for benefit-eligible employees after 180 days. This program provides debt relief and student loan assistance to help you achieve your goals. Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellence in patient care through assessing, formulating nursing diagnoses and establishing goals, planning and implementing intervention, and evaluating patient care outcomes.

  • Read, analyze, and interpret hospital policies and procedures, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

  • Write reports and procedures, and document in the medical record.

  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers, patients, physicians, family members and the general public.

  • Calculate figures and amounts such as weights, dosages, flow rates, proportions, percentages and volume.

  • Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing required

  • 0-12 months of professional nursing (RN) experience

  • Active License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State in which s/he will be practicing or the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state

  • BLS certification - American Heart Association

  • 2 Letters of Recommendation

  • Additional certifications may be required based on population(s) served and services provided Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

  • Must be able to complete entire program with a perfect attendance record

  • Must be able to work 3 days per week after completing first 12 weeks

  • Must be able to work and train on either night or day shifts including holidays

  • Must agree to terms and conditions of the program

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

  • ACLS certification - American Heart Association

Pay Range

$35.00 - $35.00 /hour
