Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for handling all shipping duties, loading and unloading materials using forklifts and pallet jacks, and performing shipping routines. You will also be responsible for cycle counting, updating job statuses, and ensuring adherence to quality, productivity, and safety goals.
Responsibilities
Handle all shipping duties and load/unload materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Perform shipping routines by pulling materials, preparing materials, and loading materials onto company trucks.
Process shipments via UPS, FedEx, or other common carriers.
Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to move, load, and unload materials from rack locations and incoming trucks.
Perform cycle counting and resolve discrepancies.
Update job statuses correctly by clocking in and out of work orders, selecting leave/close, and recording the correct quantity.
Meet daily quality, productivity, and safety goals.
Adhere to all business policies, quality policies, and corporate vision and values.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
1-2 years of experience
Experience with inventory cycle counts.
Forklift certification is a plus.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Poway, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
