Continental Risk Management & Internal Control Specialist in Porto, Portugal

We are looking for a highly skilled Risk Management & Internal Control Specialist with strong IT expertise to join our automotive sector team in Porto, Portugal. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for operating and enhancing our Risk Management System (RMS) and Internal Control Systems (ICS) to support our strategic objectives and ensure regulatory compliance.

As a part of our team, you will:

  • Develop and implement robust risk management and internal control frameworks across the organization.

  • Act as the lead user and data analytics specialist for the GRC Tool – Corporater.

  • Perform detailed risk assessments to uncover vulnerabilities, assess potential threats, and develop proactive mitigation plans.

  • Conduct data analysis and produce detailed reports to track the effectiveness of risk management and internal controls.

  • Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives related to governance, risk, and compliance, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance organizational awareness and adherence to risk management and internal control practices.

[Basic Qualifications]

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field with a strong focus on IT and data analytics.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in risk management, internal controls, or compliance within an industrial environment, preferably in the automotive sector.

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools like Power BI, KNIME, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex IT-driven projects efficiently and effectively.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO), with the ability to apply best practices.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.

  • Language: Proficiency in English, with the flexibility to travel internationally as required.
