What’s the role about?
We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team. You will add value and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the General Ledger and financial statements. This includes performing month-end activities, calculating and posting journals (including accruals), GL account reconciliations, reviewing and analysing the General Ledger.
What you'll do?
Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices
Process the cash remittances application (cash allocation) on a daily basis
Prepare monthly financial statements
Bank Reconciliation, FA Reconciliation (…)
Generate and review monthly reports
Assist with preparation for annual audits
Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
What are we looking for?
Proven experience as an accountant
Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
Strong financial, analytical and communication skills
Self-organisation and time management
Knowledge of ERP systems, processes and workflow technology
A continuous improvement mindset to propose changes to process
Language Skills: English
