GKN Automotive Accounting Intern - IEFP in Porto, Portugal

Estalished in 2020, our Global Business Services (GBS) is located at the heart of Porto (Hipercentro Areosa Business Park), where our 300+ employees provide support on a global level within areas of Finance, Procurement, HR and IT (to name a few).

The Role:
In GL department , you will learn how to do and participate in the activities of the GL team, including the performance of daily operational accounting tasks; execution of period-end accounting entries by posting manual journal entries and reconciliation of General Ledger / balance sheet accounts.
By the end of the internship, you will have a better understanding of and be able to execute the GL processes previously described.
Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required
Eligible for IEFP professional internship under the ATIVAR.PT programme
University education in accounting, management or equivalent
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Languages: Portuguese and English (advanced level), additional languages are an advantage
MS Office proficiency
Proactivity and dynamism
Ability to work in a team
