Job Title: Leasing Consultant
Job Description
As a Leasing Consultant, you will be at the forefront of customer service, engaging with both current and prospective residents. You will collaborate with the Community Manager to enhance resident relations and perform essential administrative duties.
Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents.
Lease apartments to prospective residents, including conducting initial meetings, tours, application screenings, scheduling, and managing move-ins and move-outs.
Administer work orders and turnovers.
Maintain organization of the office, lobby, and clubhouse.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for data entry, document creation, and appointment scheduling.
Enter and manage database information.
Create presentations and update the company website and social media sites with online advertisements.
Stay informed on market conditions and understand how the property compares to competitors.
Comply with Fair Housing laws and other relevant legislation.
Manage time effectively by prioritizing tasks and scheduling.
Achieve leasing quotas.
Essential Skills
Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Sales experience.
Administrative skills, including data entry and filing.
Experience in property management and community support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
GED required.
One year of experience in a sales environment.
One year of customer service experience.
Work Environment
This is a floater position between three communities in SW Portland, involving standard office hours and walking around facilities to provide tours.
The schedule is Wednesday - Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
