Aerotek Day Welder Fitter in Portland, Oregon
Welder/Fitter
Paying $24 / HR - $32 / HR
Location - Portland, OR
Responsibilities:
Structural welding with a variety of wire sizes but primarily .052 flux core.
Welding 1/2 inch steel in 1-3G positions on mild steel.
Aiding in pre-fab operations as needed.
Full layout and fitting of structural assemblies according to blueprints and welding symbols.
Verifying layout with quality checks.
Qualifications:
Welders must pass a 1/2 inch plate test with .052 in 3G.
Fitters must pass a 1/2 inch plate test with .052 in 1G and be able to walk through a drawing and layout.
Environment/ Shift:
The majority of the projects done out for this shop will be supporting structural, architectural, or construction projects.
Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm.
