Aerotek Cnc Machinist in Portland, Oregon
CNC Machinist
Paying $32 / HR - $40 / HR
Location - North Portland, OR 97203
Responsibilities:
Setup and operate CNC mills and lathes to machine large structural parts for various industrial industries like saw mills and paper mills.
Perform multiple different setups on a daily basis in a job shop environment.
Operate multiple machines simultaneously as some of the larger parts have long cut times and will allow for other parts to be started.
Help build tooling, touch off tooling, and proof programs.
Make minor program edits such as changing feeds and speeds.
Operate overhead cranes to position and load parts for machining.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 3 years of experience with setup and operation of CNC Mills or CNC Lathes.
It is not required to have experience in both mills and lathes we will put you on the machines where your strength lies.
Should have own set of basic machine shop tools.

Shift:
- Regular scheduled shift 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday with overtime ran on Friday when needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr.
