If yes, Spurwink is hiring an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our team as the new Learning and Development Facilitator. This is a full-time position, which serves to support all agency's training needs. The position provides direct training and maintains administrative documentation for new and current employees. This position pays $45,000 to $55,000 per year depending on experience.

    DUTIES:

  • Supports and coaches trainers in classroom best practices.

  • Develops and facilitates formal and informal workshops and learning experiences for large and small group presentation. Including behavioral support models.

  • Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document learning and development programs. Updates databases to track progress of participants and program scheduling.

  • Develops training curricula, instructor manuals, learner guides and other materials and/or utilizes purchased training programs that meet identified learning goals.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Associates degree in HR or Business or equivalent education and/or experience required; Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Education, Psychology or related field preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Necessary: Minimum of 5 years of training experience preferred. Must possess strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills. Must have experience training adult learners and be familiar with Learning Management Systems. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; have excellent communications and organizational skills. Must be familiar with Human Resources hiring and onboarding practices.
