We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented administrative professional to join our team as an Administrative Assistant (CL3). This full-time, year-round position is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, primarily in-person in OLLI’s Portland office that pays $19.59/hour (non-negotiable) for a new hire or the appropriate transfer rate for a current employee with the University of Maine System.

The Administrative Assistant works collaboratively with the Director, Program Coordinator, and other staff on OLLI’s marketing and web presence to advertise robust course offerings that serve our adult, 50 and over population of nearly 1,600. In addition to office support duties, the CL3 provides publication editing and proofreading, customer service, purchasing, and program support involving multi-tasking and an eye for detail. Qualifications:

  • 60 credits or more of higher education or equivalent work experience and training.

  • Three years administrative experience.
