Cleveland Clinic Program Manager I in Port Saint Lucie, Florida

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Program Manager I.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and pre-award grant administration.

  • Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated experience in pre-award grant administration, including preparing grant proposals, and developing budgets.

  • Familiarity with grant management systems.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.

  • Plan, develop, and maintain systems and procedures.

  • Act as a liaison between the department and outside communities.

  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other caregivers in the department.

  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic.

  • Thrives in a team environment.

  • Has excellent communication, organization, time management, and leadership skills.

  • Is a critical thinker and problem solver.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements, manages and maintains operational systems and activities.

  • Serves as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.

  • Manages multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.

  • Allocates time to meet completion requirements.

  • Serves as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

  • Reviews and monitors adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.

  • High School diploma/GED and six years of experience may substitute for the degree requirement.

  • Associate's degree and four years of experience may substitute the Bachelors degree requirement.

  • Master's degree and one year of experience may substitute for one year of experience.

Certifications:

  • May be required for specific positions as per policy or regulation.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.

Work Experience:

  • Two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training.

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $25.13

Maximum hourly: $38.33
