Service Data Administrator

Purpose of the position

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the daily site service operation.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Accurately input technician timesheet information into the Maintenance Databases and timekeeping systems.

  • Create work orders from the Maintenance Databases.

  • End of month processing.

  • Record information for contract KPI performance reporting in a timely and accurate manner

  • Ensure that assets of the company in your control (ie. office equipment) are maintained and kept in good condition and in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures

  • Order internal and external stock as required. Maintain the Stock Ordering Spreadsheet with relevant and current updates

  • Order and monitor Uniforms / PPE as required

  • Carry out any other reasonable and related tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor

What you’ll need to succeed

Education

  • Minimum completion of Year 12 High School Education

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role

  • Experience in the mechanical handling, Port/Transport Logistics Operations industry business

Skills & Knowledge

  • Sound people management skills

  • Negotiation skills

  • understanding of the Maximo software programme

  • understanding of the SAP software programme

  • Customer relationship and service skills

  • Effective time management skills

  • Intermediate level Microsoft Windows or Google based programs

  • Sound analytical and numeracy skills

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent interpersonal skills (ability to deal with all stakeholders in the business)

  • Basic understanding of mechanical components
