Genisys Technologies Inc. has an opening for the position of Software Developer (Ref# SD327LT). Work Location: 3545 Plymouth Blvd. Suite 115, Plymouth, MN 55447. Job Duties: Design, develop, implement, test, maintain, and support business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs, including client/server applications, and major enhancements of existing systems. Involved in all stages of the software development life-cycle (SDLC). Design and develop software applications and application components in an Agile environment. Design, build, and deploy performant and scalable solutions. Collaborate with project managers for gathering business requirements and product delivery. Interact with clients for understanding the requirements and translating business requirements into design specifications. Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes. Work on big data platforms, creating complex data processing pipelines for data ingestion and data management. Develop SSIS packages to extract data from various sources. Responsible for coding and code review process for development projects. Partner with product managers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and implement solutions that encompass analysis, programming, and how to integrate the solutions into the larger ecosystem. Ensure high quality solutions by design and build unit tests, integration testing, load testing, and user acceptance testing. Build methods and tools to automate development activities. Automate deployments by implementing pipelines. Optimize/tune complex SQL queries for better performance and efficiency. Design and develop SSRS reports according to the business specifications. Implement package configuration to create setup and deployment at different environments including dev, stage, test, and production. Prepare test and deployment documents supporting the developed orchestrations. Use of .Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Visual Studio, IIS, Azure DevOps, SoapUI, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server, BizTalk Server, and Windows. Requirements: This position requires a Master s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Consultant, Technical Lead, or related experience. Will accept a Bachelor s degree in any field of study plus 5 years of progressive experience in lieu of the required education and experience. A combination of foreign post-secondary education determined to be equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor s degree is acceptable. Position requires 2 years of experience with C#, ASP.Net, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience as per the requirements cited herein. 40hrs/week.
