Philips Quality Control Receiving Inspector in Plymouth, Minnesota

Execute in line quality control activities for manufacturing processes that have mandatory quality control activities to be independently executed by Q&R as for drug, natural health products or cosmetics.

Your role:

  • Accountable for establishing and following regulatory manufacturing controls and requirements for new products/solutions

  • Responsible for performing timely regulatory control tasks like: manufacturing and product quality inspections and audits as required per the applicable regulation and process audits

  • Acts as an informal resource for regulations

  • Frequently interacts with supervisors and functional peer groups. Interaction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others

  • Work on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors

  • Exercises judgement within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate action

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical or regulated industry

  • Your skills include working knowledge of appropriate global regulations, requirements and standards including 21 CFR Parts 803,806 and 820; 21 CFR 210/211, Cosmetic Products GMP, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001

  • You have a Bachelor’s engineering degree or equivalent experience

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Shipping/Warehousing position.

  • You’re an individual contributor who can set priorities for your work and as the ability to develop professional expertise while applying company policies/procedures to resolves issues
