Summary Leverages feedback from regional sales organizations and customers to generate global product specs that will guide the engineering team to develop global winning products. Collects and codifies applicable information on other products in the market to create collateral that will assist in products development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Be in contact with all Daikin Applied Regions and collect and organize market trends and competitors' information. Identify new products developments opportunities & generation of product specs and justification for initiating new product development projects (Product Planning Sheets - PPS) Together with the market team, coordinate PPS approvals among all Daikin Applied regions Coordinate and Be part of the team responsible for global technical events and manage the action items following the event. Occasional travel required. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or engineering Fluent in Japanese preferred 2+ years of relevant experience preferred Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information.
