Job Responsibilities: Provide programming and electronic support for Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance to support production. This includes machine and process troubleshooting Support controls integration of quality and equipment related fail safes Develop and modify PLC and Robotic Programs including Siemens Software TIA Portal, WinCC, Step 7 V5.6 Develop and modify Data Acquisition Systems Proposes and implement electrical control systems that optimize machine and process performance Ensure equipment compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA and other applicable standards Train maintenance and manufacturing personnel on control systems Create and update electrical drawings for equipment and facilities power distribution Shut down any equipment which is deemed a safety hazard Approves new and modified equipment and equipment electrical design changes Authorize repair work

Education and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent level of experience. 3+ years Siemens PLC Programming experience in automotive/manufacturing, preferably TIA Portal experience High Level programming language Industrial electricity, safety circuits and devices, Ladder Logic, Operator Interface software Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, Ability to work in a team oriented environment Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and knowledge of databases HMI Programming Communications ( Profinet, Profibus, IO-Link) Configuring/Programming of VFD's, Safety scanners, Barcode readers, DC torque controller/guns, vision cameras and AGV's
