Job Description:
Apex is seeking a Chemical Operator to join a growing Chemical company located in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of process equipment:
- Reaction systems, distillation systems, filters, extractors, autoclaves, reactors, pumps, centrifuges, etc.
- Load and unload raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
- Set up and adjust indicating and controlling devices.
- Monitor and record reactions.
- Adjust valves and controls to maintain system.
- Maintain log of gauge readings, shift production and equipment malfunctions.
- Draw product samples and perform tests.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a HS Diploma/GED (will also consider Associate's degrees).
- Must have previous experience working as a Chemical Operator.
- Must have excellent math and reading skills.
