Main responsibilities will include:
Investigate Customer Complaints in accordance with standardised practices and in an effort to identify potential root causes of reported defects.
Test returned and/or retained products and review manufacturing records (DHR) where possible to enable confirmation or otherwise of reported defect.
Ensure all relevant systems and supporting records are maintained as evidence of a thorough investigation to the required level, and that investigation reports are recorded on the Trackwise system in a timely manner.
Support Validation / Trial runs and MWOs in manufacturing to provide product testing support where required.
Provide support for internal audits, third party regulatory audits and customer complaints as required.
Provide a source of advice / knowledge on shift to manufacturing / technical associates on all matters relating to Customer Complaints.
Support the Quality Engineering team on reasonable requests as they may arise.
Support operational CI initiatives as required including documentation improvements.
About you:
Achieved and completed high school education, specifically GCSE Maths and English.
Experience within a quality function in a manufacturing environment is essential.
Able to analyse numerical data and complete detailed reports of investigation.
Experience in a quality / manufacturing role within a high volume medical device-manufacturing controlled environment.
Working knowledge of MS Office and Minitab.
Excellent IT skills, and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Basic knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
