Deloitte Project Delivery Manager - Mobile Tech Lead - TSP in Pleasanton, California

Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Currently, working with our project team and our technology client where you will lead a team of Mobile Developers, ensuring they follow best practices are deliver high-quality mobile applications.

  • You will be participating in hands-on development and maintenance of iOS and Android application.

  • You will perform regular code reviews to ensure quality and work with development team to remediate code quality issues.

  • You will troubleshoot, triage, and fix the critical production issues on the applications developed by your team.

  • You will coordinate and collaborate with offshore development teams in the development of iOS and Android applications.

  • You will work with the product managers & designers to define the architecture and technical specifications.

  • You will create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for mobile applications and development processes.

  • You will provide guidance & mentorship to junior developers, helping them grown in their skills.

  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party client teams to ensure the successful delivery of mobile project.

  • You will participate and contribute to Digital Product Management team and stakeholder meetings.

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.

  • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.

Our Digital Foundry & Operations works with the Customer & Marketing group to bring a flexible capability and fluid capacity model to the delivery of small technology projects and enhancements.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

  • 5 years of native mobile engineering experience working with a strong portfolio of published apps on iOS and Android platform

  • Proficiency in mobile application development using platforms such as Swift and Kotlin

  • Strong knowledge of mobile architecture, design patterns, and best practices

  • Expertise in designing testable software and building large scale, complex applications.

  • A well-rounded understanding of a variety of mobile app frameworks and web services

  • Working knowledge of common build tools

  • An understanding of performance optimization best practices

  • An understanding of hardware compatibility and versioning strategy

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Willingness to apply your skillset broadly and expand it to meet client needs

  • Experience working with globally distributed team• Should have good communication skills and zeal to work across offshore and onshore

  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

    Preferred

  • Experience working in a consulting environment

  • Experience in the healthcare industry

  • Experience with automated testing for mobile apps (Perfecto Mobile)

  • Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities

  • Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products.

  • Can operate independently or with minimum supervision.

  • Excellent Written and Communication Skills

  • Ability to deliver technical demonstrations.

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $126,000 to $210,000.
