ManpowerGroup Medical Device Production Technician in Pleasanton, California

Our client, a leading medical device manufacturer, is seeking a Production Technician to join their team. As a Production Technician, you will be part of the Manufacturing Department supporting various cell operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Technician

Location: Pleasanton, CA

Shift: 5:00am-1:30pm Mon-Fri

Pay Range: $21.50/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Perform assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical devices including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), leads, and related assemblies within a manufacturing cell.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of job documentation for cell operations and functions.

  • Communicate effectively with manufacturing management regarding ideas, problems, and solutions, both written and orally.

  • Adhere to safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices during all operations.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes and meet quality and profitability metrics.

What’s Needed?

  • High school degree or equivalent.

  • A minimum of 1 year experience working with medical device manufacturing

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures, as well as understand and follow verbal instructions.

  • Attention to detail and ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts safely.

  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
