Utah State Job Bank Civil Design Engineer in PLEASANT GROVE, Utah
Responsibilities
· Comprehension of engineering principles, codes, and standards in civil design, including site layout, grading, erosion control, storm sewer, water, sanitary sewer, roadway, and fueling design.
· Possesses basic technical writing skills needed for civil reports and letters.
· Ability to work within your own team as well as other internal teams and clients.
· Draft plans using AutoCAD and Civil3D software.
· Adjust and correlate data, recognize discrepancies in results, and follow operations through a detailed processes.
· Assist in the preparation of improvement plans, specifications, supporting documents, and permit applications for subdivisions, commercial developments, multifamily developments, and public works projects.
· Participate in the preparation of calculations, such as storm drain, wastewater, water system, earthwork quantities, transportation, cost estimates, and other supporting documentation for public and private projects.

Qualifications
Education
· Bachelor of Engineering from a four-year, board-approved engineering curriculum.

Experience
· Typically, 1-4 years of experience.
· Possesses Engineering Intern certification or can take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months of hire.
