Senior Business Analyst- Neiman Marcus Card Product and Growth Strategies
Summary: As a Senior Business Analyst on the Neiman Marcus Card Partnerships Team, you will team up with world-class professionals to develop and bring to market a new loyalty program and card products that drive long term profitable program growth. And you will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support development and launch of new loyalty program and associated card products, getting deep exposure to all phases of the card product development process
Provide analytical insights to inform customer research agenda, product design, testing, feasibility, and marketing campaigns
Be an active participant in design ideation sessions
Identify business challenges and opportunities for growth, and drive strategic or tactical recommendations to solve them backed by data/analytics and customer insights, influencing both internally and externally.
Initiative leadership, providing intent ownership of strategic initiatives to create sustainable and profitable growth
Deep understanding of program P&L drivers. Ability to influence the program’s P&L and act on levers to maintain vertical program health
Develop deep relationships with the partner and their decision makers, including significant time on-site in Dallas working in a highly collaborative cross-company agile team
Maintain adherence to contract, risk, regulatory and compliance requirements, including managing applicable governance processes for owned initiatives
Collaboration with internal teams including Tech, Credit, Marketing, Finance, Ops, and Legal teams
Will have other responsibilities to support key program priorities including program credit risk management and monthly/quarterly business reviews
The desired experience and skill set for the ideal candidate include:
Strategic and analytical: Has a passion for leveraging data, metrics and insights to drive results and learnings. The candidate will have a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics and customer insights. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a customer first mindset and strong quantitative orientation.
Business and Credit Acumen: Demonstrated experience with credit card program P&L’s and credit risk. Ability to identify and act on portfolio trends.
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Strong judgment, leadership and integrity: the candidate should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business
Clear results orientation: focused on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.
Successful: track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
At least 1 year of experience in analysis
Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
1+ years of experience in Statistical model building
1+ years of experience in market research
1+ years of experience in SQL querying
2+ years of experience in business analysis
1+ years of experience in consulting
