We are looking for a qualified Cardiovascular Special Procedures Technologist like you to join our Texas Health family. *Sign-On for Eligible New Hires* LOCATION : The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093 SCHEDULE: Full-time; 40 Hours; 10 hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday – Friday with rotating days off; On call required (Must live within 30 minutes of Texas Health Plano) Cath Lab Department highlights · 2023 Mission Lifeline Gold Plus Recipient from AHA for care of STEMI patients · 2023 Mission Lifeline Gold Plus Recipient from AHA for care of NSTEMI patients · Received AHA Gold Plus Award for STEMI 4 years in a row · Growing Structural Heart Program and TAVR Procedure · Ability to cross train to other H&V specialties within Heart and Vascular · Great unit to learn and advance skillset HERE's WHAT YOU NEED: EDUCATION: · Associate degree in applied science required OR · Completion of accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology required OR · High School Diploma or Equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required. EXPERIENCE: · One year of Cath Lab experience preferred · On-call required. Must live within a 30-minute drive LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: · ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist upon hire required or · RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist upon required or · RCES – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist upon hire or · CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist if ARRT upon hire and · BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and · ACLS—Advanced Cardiac Life Support—within 90 days required WHAT YOU WILL NEED DO: · Imaging Quality and Processing: · Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam. · Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations. · Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique. · Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS MORE ABOUT TEXAS HEALTH PLANO Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Plano is a 386-bed, Magnet-designated hospital and a recognized clinical leader, providing technologically advanced care to Plano, Frisco and surrounding communities since 1991.   • Oncology Program is accredited through the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer
