We are in search of Paralegals and Legal Assistants to be a part of our team in Plainview, New York. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support services, handling confidential documents, and offering quality assurance through meticulous review processes. The successful applicant will play an integral role in our team, ensuring that all legal documents are drafted accurately and that all legal and regulatory references are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing legal documents to ensure they meet all legal requirements

• Providing comprehensive clerical support to attorneys, with a focus on litigation

• Regularly handling and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information

• Ensuring adherence to non-disclosure agreements and other legal agreements

• Coordinating with vendors to ensure service delivery

• Analyzing and interpreting legal language and principles

• Handling materials and ensuring their secure storage

• Ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and resolving any arising inquiries

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action as necessary.

NOTE - Possession of Paralegal Certificate (completed, graduated) and at least three (3) professional references must be provided to pursue this role

Requirements • Proficiency in Materials Handling, demonstrating the ability to manage and organize legal documents effectively.

• Experience in Review and Pricing, ensuring all legal materials are correctly assessed and valued.

• Understanding of Security measures within a legal context, ensuring the safety of sensitive information.

• Ability to liaise with Vendors and handle Clerical Duties effectively.

• Strong commitment to Confidentiality, ensuring all client information is securely handled and privacy is maintained.

• Experience in Litigation processes, demonstrating the ability to support legal professionals during lawsuits.

• Familiarity with various types of Agreements and Principles of law.

• Knowledge of R Code, demonstrating technical skills that can be utilized in data analysis for legal cases.

• Possession of strong Analytical Skills, enabling the review and interpretation of complex legal documents.

• Excellent Written Communication skills, ensuring clear and concise communication of legal information.

• Proficiency in Assertion Markup Language, demonstrating a technical skill set that can be used in the creation of legal documents.

• Experience with Non-Disclosure Agreements and ability to Draft Legal Documents.

• Knowledge of the Request For Quotation process, demonstrating an understanding of procurement within a legal context.

• Familiarity with Internal Revenue regulations and laws.

• Ability to provide Support Services to legal professionals, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
