TRC is currently seeking a Survey Technician to join our team. Key Words: #Survey Technician, #Survey Data Technician, #Survey Drafter, #Surveyors Assistant, #Project Surveyor, #Associate Surveyor, #Surveyor in Training, #SIT, #LSIT, #SI Position Summary / Job Duties: Individual must be able to perform the following duties. Use of CAD software and ability to post process survey data.  AutoCAD Civil3D & Trimble TBC preferred, Produce finished survey deliverables including but not limited to base mapping, topographic and contour data, ALTA, boundary & utility surveys. Provide calculation and plotting of deeds, plans and survey documentation. Produce survey exhibits, plans, plats and other drafting. Develop construction stakeout upload files and hard sheets for survey crews. Process and produce post-construction and AsBuilt data and drawings. Provide and follow quality processes and procedures. Effectively communicate with internal & external stakeholders and team members. Qualifications

Qualifications / Required Training, Experience, Education and/or Skills: Preferred Minimum of 3 years of Survey Technician / CAD experience. Requires knowledge of both survey technology and basic civil engineering concepts. Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent Certified Survey Technician III or IV or LSIT preferred. Candidates with bachelor's degree from ABET accredited survey curriculum preferred. Candidates with Remote Sensing experience such as sUAV/Drone Part 107 Pilots, Laser Scanning and/or hydrographic surveys is a plus. Candidates must have good written and verbal communication skills, good mechanical, and computer skills. A valid driver's license is required. Candidates may from time to time be required to work from an office or home setting and in outdoor, construction, industrial or other project settings.
