Job Description
The client has a large and robust healthcare dataset. They have expanded with a Machine Learning team to help create actionable insights from this data, working hand in hand with data experts to integrate AI/ML analytics into healthcare operations.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, youll lead navigation of one of the most intricate data landscapes in healthcare. Pioneering advanced, large-scale Machine Learning services and applications on the Cloud, handling vast amounts of data. The mission is to apply predictive technology to a diverse array of challenges. You will provide thought leadership in a team of Machine Learning engineers, working side by side with stakeholders to set process, building team culture and work hands on in the work and design. Our client is seeking skilled and experienced Machine Learning Engineers/Data Scientists who can bring innovative Machine Learning techniques to real-world issues. Youll join a team committed to advancing Machine Learning solutions and transforming them into operational enhancements for healthcare.

Skills and Requirements
7+ years of machine learning experience, predictive analytics in a business or healthcare setting preferred.
Developing and implementing machine algorithms using Python or R
Clustering, regression, classification, and machine learning frameworks.
Emphasis on analysis and model development, but experience deploying a model for an end-to-end app solution of some sort.
Ability to work with large datasets and non-standard machine learning datasets (class-imbalances, sparse matrices)
Utilizing Hadoop and low-level machine learning libraries like Pytorch, Scikit-learn.
High level SQL experience 5+ years, writing complex SQL queries
Version control experience in Git or a similar system
Working with open-source Big Data technology stacks (Apache Nifi, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Hadoop/HDFS, Hive, Drill, or Pig) or commercial open-source Big Data technology stacks (Hortonworks, Clouder)
Experience with document databases ex. MongoDB, Accumulo
Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, GCS, Cloud Terraform
Team leadership/thought leadership experience as applicable to end-to-end deployment, production to development.
Agile development practices
Bachelors degree in computer science or other related fields Masters or PHd in related fields
