Project Manager I

 

Job Summary

Oversees all aspects of planning, design, and execution of assigned small, routine projects and coordinates with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Assists in timeline development, ensures adherence to timeframes, and adjusts project deliverables to avoid issues. Performs budgetary functions and administrative tasks. Assists with external consultant and vendor selection, negotiation, and management.

Essential Functions

  • Project Organization
  • Budget Control
  • Ordering, follow-up, relationship development for specialized topics
  • Inventory Control, system establishment
  • Timelines follow-up of various tasks at the same time
  • Great oral and written communication skills
  • Conflict and problem resolution
  • Excellent personal communication skills
  • Follow-up of lab certifications and regulations (DEA, IRB, IBCs)

Physical Effort

Position is primarily sedentary but may require candidate to walk between laboratory areas.
