MCSI Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will perform office functions for the Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation and the Office of Sustainability. The Administrative Assistant will greet visitors, assist with calendars, scheduling, and the reserving of conference rooms. The Administrative Assistant will assist with event planning, including logistics, catering, registration, and purchasing. The Administrative Assistant will also perform the duties necessary for office maintenance, including the purchase of supplies, computer and print materials, assigning swipe access and graduate spaces, facilitating surplus pickup, and creating other facilities requests as needed. The Administrative Assistant will assist with expense reports and invoice processing in Concur and Panther Express. The Administrative Assistant will also assist with marketing and communications, including website maintenance and content creation.

Job Summary

Performs administrative assistant support work of moderate complexity.

Essential Functions

Must be able to use a computer, type, file, answer phones, learn new procedures, make decisions, run errands, help to maintain central equipment: fax and copier.

Physical Effort

Running of errands and the lifting of supplies may be necessary. There should be no extraordinary physical activity.
