Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction? We have an exciting opening for a Manager, Encompass Product Services to join our Encompass Third Party North American team!
The Manager, Encompass Product Services has an overall responsibility for managing the Encompass Product Optimization team and is responsible for leading all aspects of their day-to-day activities. The position is responsible for managing and delegating the daily workload that cycles through the team as well as coordinating large, strategic projects such as sourcing requests and part optimization requests. This position will work closely with the customer and supplier management teams to align on strategic activities.
This position will work with colleagues that have varying levels of responsibility from a diverse cross-functional group including Sales, Customer Service, IT, Unity Lab Services, Product Admin, Accounts Payable and Finance, both within our company as well as the supplier community.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the Encompass Third Party Product Optimization Team
Product sourcing for our many key Thermo Fisher Scientific Customers
Ad-hoc product sourcing requests from the commercial team
Special projects and maintenance including updates to ERP (Mainframe) i.e. Chemical CAS/MDL maintenance
Product maintenance, including commodity code correction, part description corrections, lead time maintenance, and other product related updates
Responsibility of direct reports and day to day work coverage
Maintaining access to the WebReq Sourcing application, including training, system enhancement notifications, and monitoring for proper use and compliance
Create efficiency for day to day work based on data analysis
Sourcing SOP and Work Instruction maintenance using the document control system MasterControl
Development of dashboard of team metrics
Maintain reporting metrics for department around SLAs, and KPIs of team:
Tracking and reporting of customer sourcing SLAs
Tracking and reporting of Request Turnaround Time
Reporting and reviewing lead time changes
Build, develop, and maintain Thermo Fisher Scientific supplier and customer relationships
Project Manager for multiple new initiatives across company and department including expanded sourcing projects, use of Third Party forms and new customer onboarding
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, operations or related field
Management/Supervisor experience preferred and ability to effectively manager others is an asset
5+ years experience in customer relations/service preferred
Collaborative work style with excellent leadership qualities and a can-do attitude preferred
Excellent interpersonal, customer orientation and problem solving skills
Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet designated deadlines
Excellent organization ability, analytical capacity and attention to detail
Strong customer service focus, including conflict management skills
Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal and effective listening
Computer skills, including proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
Mainframe, AS400, AMPS, Cognos, PowerBI, SQL and Smartsheets a plus
Lead through adverse, ambiguous and/or stressful situations with integrity
Some travel may be required (approximately 10%)
