Huntington National Bank Commercial Sales & Support Specialist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Summary:

The Commercial Sales and Service Specialist II's primary responsibility is to support the Commercial team, with a specific focus on supporting the Relationship Managers (RMs) in growing and executing their business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with RMs to review and understand their unique clients and portfolios.

  • Assists in maintaining client and prospect information within Huntington’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

  • Assures data integrity within the CRM platform and assists with entering and updating calling and deal activity.

  • Primary point of contact with questions, serve as a MAX Champion.

  • Assists on regular activities and special projects across the line of business including quarterly/annual reviews, portfolio deep dives, pitch book generation, sales summits, client/prospect industry background/research, and underwriting.

  • Apply lessons and best practices across all projects and activities.

  • Find ways to improve all activities and processes. Assists with standardization of processes and information.

  • Support the segment with onboarding new colleagues.

  • Generates and analyzes weekly/monthly reports.

  • Responsibilities include some traditional administrative work, such as meeting scheduling, coordination, data entry, creating memos, printing & binding, creating, and formatting presentation materials, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an additional 2 years of banking sales support experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in an administrative role within Commercial Banking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point

  • Proficient in MAX Salesforce CRM system

  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues and all levels of management both verbally and in writing

  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others

  • Proven problem-solving skills, flexibility, and the ability to work independently

  • Ability to accommodate a fast passed environment with high demands

  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality, maturity, judgement and professionalism
