Our client in Downtown Pittsburgh is hiring for an Administrative Assistant for a contract to hire ONSITE opportunity. Our client is seeking a full-time, in office, administrative assistant. This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the team and performing other essential administrative duties in support of Fund members and participating employers. Pay: $20-25

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform routine administrative functions including handling correspondence and maintaining necessary records and files for the Fund Office

• Perform non-supervisory duties such as purchasing office equipment, maintaining confidential files and financial reports, administrative report preparation and mail handling

• Administer the Fund's delinquency policy and maintain relevant records and reports

• Administer the Fund’s Participation Agreement tracking

• Perform data entry and processing relating to the maintenance of the Fund Database.

• Participate in development and maintenance of promotional material such as benefit grids, Fund manuals, highlights brochure and website

• Answer general inquires about the Fund and/or direct caller to appropriate resources within the company.

• Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements

• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

• Three to five years of administrative experience preferred

• Excellent organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent with employee benefits knowledge or experience

Requirements - Familiarity with using the internet for research tasks

  • At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

  • Administrative Assistance experience desired

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Solid computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
