Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina

Description

We are seeking a diligent and customer-oriented professional to be a part of our team in the non-profit sector, located in Pisgah Forest, NC, as a Customer Service Representative. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The main function of this role involves addressing inbound calls, assisting with card activation and issue resolution, handling account-related requests, and updating information in our internal system.

Responsibilities include:

• Addressing and resolving inbound customer calls regarding card activation, issue resolution, and other account-related inquiries

• Utilizing internal software to document customer interactions, update account information, and maintain accurate records

• Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely and efficient service

• Utilizing Spanish language skills, as necessary, to assist a diverse range of customers

• Collaborating with the team to improve customer service processes and procedures

• Proactively identifying potential issues with customer accounts and taking appropriate action

• Continuously updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in customer service

• Communicating effectively with customers, team members, and management to ensure the smooth operation of the organization

• Adhering to all company policies and procedures, including safety and privacy protocols

• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements • Proven experience in a customer service role within a non-profit organization

• Demonstrated ability to ensure customer satisfaction

• Proficiency in Spanish language, both written and spoken, is required

• Experience in Spanish translation is a plus

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints effectively and professionally

• Familiarity with CRM systems and practices

• Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated

• Must possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality
