We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Integration Manager, (North American Division), located in Piscataway, New Jersey. In this role you will be responsible for all procurement data management, analytics & reporting and monitoring of KPIs. You will be supporting the identification and implementation of system & digital solutions for sourcing requirements, support business continuity planning and implementation of process improvements activities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The Procurement Integration Manager will:

  • Be responsible for procurement data management (Info records/ IR and vendor update, standard costing, etc.)

  • Ensures alignment of the requirements set for business data with IT systems and solutions

  • Reviews price changes (monthly, quarterly) and purchasing conditions in SAP and provides direction for necessary updates

  • Coordinate the Procurement budgeting process (uploads and reporting) and keep accurate information on the Future Cost Planning system

  • Plans and coordinates data cleansing initiatives

  • Leverages SAP in day-to-day function to report & monitor key measures: procurement KPIs, ESM tracking, Contracts coverage, VSC, PPV, PSA, SMI; ability to communicate KPIs & Metrics

  • Supports Risk Management activities and keeps responsibility for Suppliers due diligence

  • Represents Plant Procurement Operations team in workshops and/or meetings with business functions representatives

  • Data Analytics: Utilize a variety of techniques including advanced excel and other tools (DOMO, Tableau, Google Suite) to manipulate data to derive critical insights and support decision making.

  • Information Systems: Knowledge and use of existing Technical Information Systems (e.g. SAP, Ariba, BI and other tools ) to generate necessary data; Ability to access, analyze and use information in a manner that adds value to the organization; Ability to propose system enhancements based upon business needs

  • Develop a working knowledge of commodities being purchased to manage budgeting and future cost planning.

  • Analyze complex business problems and provide valuable insights through various methods including data validation, ad-hoc reports and automation, dashboards etc.

  • Develop, manage, maintain data, KPIs for the Procurement team, ensuring reliability, data accuracy and integrity of information

  • Understand and enhance current processes, data pipelines and data visualizations based on user feedback

  • Automate repetitive manual tasks and data collection for the business to streamline data process and reporting projects

  • Works cross functionally and with multiple stakeholders to gather master data, costing information and other relevant dataset to consolidate information in a timely manner to meet key deadlines

Required qualifications include:

  • Basic understanding of Material Master, Vendor Master, Contract/PO relationships, GR & Delivery transactions, and/or general Source-to-Pay management

  • Strong computer skills, including knowledge of SAP systems; Advanced Excel skills, strong skills in Google suite tools.

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent local university degree) in a technical or business field, or comparable discipline is required.

  • At least 5 years of Procurement, Supply Chain, Financial or related experience

Preferred qualifications include:

  • An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPM, CPIM, or Project Management) is desirable

  • Working well under pressure, managing multiple priorities, dealing with ambiguity, and the willingness and ability to learn

  • Ability to work with with stakeholders and cross functional team thru relationship building using formal and informal influence with strong project management skills

  • Knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network, learns quickly when facing new problems, open to change; analyses both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiments and will try anything to find solutions; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks; quickly grasps the essence and underlying structure of anything understands the origin and reasoning behind key policies, practices and procedures

  • Problem solving to ensure timely resolution of challenges

  • Basic knowledge of raw and packaging materials

  • Practical experience with core procurement skills, such as market analysis, contract development and management, supplier selection, negotiation, supplier performance and supplier relationship management, as well as some Marketing specific knowledge.

  • Practical experience in creating RFP’s (Request for Proposals).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $128,000.00 - $144,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
