    Job Summary

  • The Maintenance Tech III is accountable for the operation, testing and inspection of refrigeration, HVAC, Boiler, Electrical and/or Plumbing related equipment within the complex.

  • Will report back to duty when the facility experiences major problems in these areas.

  • Works under general supervision with work subject to check by the Director and/or the Supervisor.

  • Has a thorough, working knowledge of the principle and procedures of the work involved.

  • Performs repairs, preventive maintenance, and major component overhaul on the facility structure and equipment.

    Education and/or Experience

  • Technical Degree is required, equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1-2 years of experience is required.

    Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • HVAC or Certification in Electrical, Plumbing, or Boiler required based on the role this position is being hired.

    Work Schedule

  • Day shift; 80 hours every 2 weeks

  • 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

  • Occasional weekend (1 in 9)

  • Occasional holiday (1 in 9)

  • Occasional call time

    Pay

    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $24.75 - $37.00 per hour
