Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workplace Technology Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing the design, implementation, and escalated support of all workplace technologies, including conference AV systems, IoT sensors (such as occupancy sensors), digital signage, and visitor management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology implementations as part of construction projects across a global portfolio and within a fast-paced technology environment. This role will manage a team of two people.
Responsibilities
Oversee the design, implementation, and support of workplace technologies, including conference AV systems, IoT sensors, digital signage, and visitor management across global construction projects
Provide escalated support for all workplace technologies at an enterprise scale
OPEX and CAPEX budget tracking
Lead and manage a small team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance
Establish and maintain Technology team processes and runbooks
Enterprise level device management and maintain security compliance across associated AV and IoT Technologies
Establish and maintain partnerships with global technology vendors to ensure deliverables are met across the enterprise
Work global hours to support international projects and teams
Utilize strong project management skills to ensure successful delivery of technology projects
Support conference room and IoT technology, ensuring optimal performance and user experience
Foster strong people skills to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
Partner with Stakeholders to continuously evolve and innovate an exceptional Autodesk user experience across in the in-office experience
Minimum Qualifications
At least 10 years of proven experience in managing technology implementations as part of construction projects across a global portfolio
At least 6 years experience in a fast-paced technology environment delivering at a global scale
Expert level knowledge of AV and conference room design
Previous experience in managing a team and working global hours
Strong project management skills within the technology space
Experience in supporting conference room and IoT technology
Excellent people skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
Familiarity with Crestron hardware and device management, QSC programming, and Appspace management is a plus
Strong networking knowledge and understanding of construction drawings and processes
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Crestron hardware and device management
Proficiency in QSC programming
Knowledge of Appspace and Brightsign management
Strong networking knowledge
Understanding of construction drawings, processes and acoustics
Familiarity with the latest trends and advancements in workplace technology
Ability to work in a fast-paced technology environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $95,400 and $154,330. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
