Actalent Technologist Trainee in Phoenix, Arizona

Job Title: Technologist TraineeJob Description

Join our team as a Technologist Trainee and embark on a career where you will perform complex medical laboratory tests vital for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. This role typically reports to a biochemist or microbiologist. Responsibilities include analyzing laboratory findings to ensure accuracy, analyzing biological material for chemical content or reactions, monitoring clinical trials, cultivating and identifying microbial organisms, performing various microbial tests, conducting clinical trials of pharmaceuticals, and entering medical test data into computer systems for storage. You will also operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.

Hard Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field

  • Experience in operating lab equipment like spectrophotometers and flame photometers

  • Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis

  • 0-2 years experience in a related field

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in PHOENIX, AZ.

Work Environment

Large Diagnostics Lab, Schedule: Mon-Fri 10pm-6:30AM
