Job Summary
Responsible for providing oversight and leadership of the Program Team and Outdoor Program team as they work to reach, serve, and support all girls within the council. Responsible for providing leadership and vision setting for the development of innovative strategies and effective service for directing membership development in all areas of the council, and council programs. The Senior Director works in partnership with other operational and organizational functions to support the organizational mission, goals, and strategic priorities, including sitting on the Council Strategy Team, Senior Leadership Team, and Co-leading the Program Leadership Team.
Job Qualifications
Solid leadership and management skills in youth programs with a focus on outdoor program and risk mitigation, as well as demonstrated nonprofit experience and dedication and support for multicultural programing.
A minimum of 10 or more years’ experience in youth development roles, including at least seven consecutive years of managerial experience.
Ability to set vision and direction for a large team and to work cross functionally.
