The Quality Assurance (QA) team directly contributes to IAG’s strategy through QA strategic initiatives that are increasing QA’s use of Data-Driven Continuous Auditing and assuring that IAG delivers high-quality, high-impact results.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate as a key team member on QA projects to document processes under review by executing QA tests (including over technology controls) competently and in accordance with policies and procedures
Collaborate with audit teams and IAG Professional Practices to understand the data behind key processes, risk and controls to develop analytic control tests and analyze and interpret their results
Assist QA colleagues in accomplishing QA review objectives in a team environment
Monitor a portfolio of QA analytics, assess analytic results, use the analytic data to tell the potential story, and work with audit and Professional Practices colleagues to validate that story
Proficient use of automated work papers, analytics and other department and company tools
Perform root cause analysis on identified control gaps
Develop and maintain strategic partnerships within the IAG while Influencing audit teams and advising leadership on improvement opportunities
Validate that actions taken by IAG management to address QA findings are appropriate and document the results
Maintain audit proficiency through ongoing professional development including data literacy skills
Assist in maintaining and performing quality checks of QA data and in the execution of strategic initiatives
Produce periodic QA reporting for use internally and upon request of outside parties, such as regulators
Minimum Qualifications
2 years of relevant audit experience
Financial services industry experience and an understanding of related products, services, features, economics and key regulations
BA, BS, or equivalent degree in accounting or finance related field
Knowledge and experience in the application of control theory and professional auditing practices including the audit lifecycle
Experience with technology control testing including interface inputs, reports, application security, business continuity and third parties
Ability to break-down a complex problem into components, solve them using data analysis, process knowledge and risk/control knowledge, and communicate data analysis, issues and control recommendations with transparency and integrity
Strong written and verbal communication skills that deliver quality, actionable and beneficial feedback to management on potential control issues and solutions to close gaps
Effectively works independently, within a team and across teams in a fast-paced environment to drive business results, utilizing related project management skills, employing creative thinking, and the ability to work on competing priorities
Ability to travel when needed
Preferred Qualifications
QA experience
Relevant Professional Certification (CIA, CISA, CPA, or equivalent)
Background in compliance, information systems, data analytics, and/or information technology

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually bonus benefits
