The Phoenix Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Phoenix Job Corps is excited to announce that we are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a Safety and Protective Services CTT Instructor. Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

  • Design and develop an engaging, relevant, and up-to-date curriculum for the Safety and Protective Services CTT program.
  • Ensure that the curriculum aligns with industry standards and prepares students for successful careers in safety and protective services.

Instruction and Training:

  • Deliver comprehensive and hands-on instruction to students, covering a range of topics such as emergency response, public safety, conflict resolution, and physical fitness.
  • Facilitate practical training exercises, simulations, and drills to enhance students\' skills and readiness for real-world scenarios.

Mentorship and Guidance:

  • Provide individualized guidance and mentorship to students, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and dedication to the field of safety and protective services.

Assessment and Feedback:

  • Conduct regular assessments to measure students\' progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students, helping them develop the necessary skills and competencies for success.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other instructors, staff, and external partners to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
  • Participate in programmatic meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Industry Engagement:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in safety and protective services.
  • Foster relationships with local employers and industry professionals to enhance students\' access to job opportunities.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Ensure a safe and secure learning environment y adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Familiarize students with safety procedures and industry best practices
