Job Purpose

This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining CLEANPART US processes to ISO documented procedures. This includes UHV cleaning, selective chemical stripping, surface texturizing, coatings, and SPC control of all processes. This position also requires expert failure analysis, process improvements and technical customer relations.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Developing, editing, maintenance and continuous improvement of assigned Cleanpart US processes to ISO documented procedures.

  • Work with operations on PM procedures, equipment calibration, service, installation, qualification, and facility design.

  • Come up with “Design of Experiments”, perform the experiments and develop conclusions and recommendations from those DOE’s to Cleanpart US management.

  • Take leadership in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Cleanpart US SPC process controls.

  • Perform “Failure Analysis” on customer and internal Cleanpart processes, equipment and parts using internal inspection equipment and outside labs.

  • Engineer must have the ability to analyze data gathered by both internal inspection and outside lab analysis data.

  • Always maintain, adhere, and promote environmentally sound and safe working processes and practices.

  • Communicate directly with customer technical personnel and support Cleanpart Sales in customer meetings as may be requested.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience

  • Preferred employee will have at minimum a BS or MS in a technical field (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science)

  • 5+ year’s process and failure analysis engineering experience.

  • Experience with chemicals in a chemical environment.

  • Semiconductor industry experience is preferred.

  • Also having an advanced degree in a technical field (same as above) with less than 5 years experience in a process engineering role that has included R&D functions in at least one of the following areas, chemical cleaning, coating removal, thermal coatings, and thin films with some failure analysis.

  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel software programs. Employee must have general knowledge and basic usage understanding of Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, and SPC software programs.

Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections)

  • The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
