Description
We are offering a part-time contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in the restaurant industry, located in Phoenix, Arizona 85018. As a Payroll Specialist, your role will involve managing payroll for multistate restaurants, including processing tips and kitchen fees through a specific payroll system.
Responsibilities
• Manage payroll for approximately 400 employees across different states.
• Oversee the payroll process for restaurant tips and kitchen fees.
• Operate payroll software, specifically Paychex, to process payments as required.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping of all payroll data.
• Participate in auditing processes to maintain the integrity of payroll transactions.
• Utilize different accounting software systems and functions for efficient payroll processing.
• Address and resolve any payroll-related inquiries and issues.
• Participate in training to improve understanding and management of payroll.
Requirements
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Auditing skills
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Experience with Paychex
