Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services.

The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic, research and leadership roles.

DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrow's healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs.

Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY - Supports the Director to assure that the activities, improvement monitoring, reporting, and outcomes related to Clinical Operations Improvement initiatives meet organizational objectives. Executes implementation of the designed work plans, including education, process measures, data coordination, and provides required evaluations and reporting of results/progress to a variety of audiences. Supports the five core values of Dignity Health (Dignity, Excellence, Collaboration, Stewardship and Justice) in the course of their work, responsibilities and interactions.

Qualifications

MINIMUM

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and/or additional job related experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in related field required

  • 2 years supervisory experience required

  • N/A

  • Skills in project management and the ability to successfully deliver outcomes in a timely and thorough manner

  • Lean process improvement methods, Transformational Care at Dignity Health

  • Expert ability to work collaboratively and effectively at all hospital levels, across the organization and within an individual hospital

  • Expert ability to communicate including interpersonal, verbal and written skills

  • Expert ability to use multiple systems to extract data and/or information and clearly present to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to facilitate meetings

  • Computer application skills including Midas, Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and healthcare, nursing and medical literature search systems

PREFERRED

  • Master's degree strongly preferred
