Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Logistics Specialist to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing critical operational support including order entry, routing, dispatch coordination, and customer updates.
Location: Phoenix 85040
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20/HR
Key Responsibilities
Enter and maintain customer and load information in the Freight Optimizer system
Monitor and track shipments, ensuring on-time delivery in good condition
Take driver check-in calls and verify load statuses for accurate billing
Coordinate with account managers, customers, and receivers regarding problem loads
Investigate and document overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D)
Schedule or reschedule delivery appointments; make load acceptance decisions as directed
Provide drivers with clear routing instructions and updates
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of logistics or transportation operations experience
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
