This role will be part of the IT End User Computing - Compute Engineering team and will grow and drive a consistent scale-out infrastructure environment to provide a platform for Mac and MacOS deployments, development of the technical environment for deployments and certifying the deployments are working as designed.
The incumbent will engage with key stakeholders, functional peers and other IT groups to be able to provide a fully managed MAC-as-a-Service environment that will improve customer satisfaction by ensuring a secure working environment.
Aligning Honeywell business strategy with the right technology and architecture to achieve its goals. This includes evaluation of contemporary technologies and platforms to determine whether they would be the right fit for the Honeywell requirements.
Delivery of architecture to integrate new technologies and platforms into Honeywell's digital ecosystem including integration of Jamf and Azure. Will have to work with industry-leading partners, like Apple, Jamf and others to ensure a continuous evolution process by using cutting-edge solutions that are being reviewed, implemented and adopted.
WHAT A DAY LOOKS LIKE:
You will be actively engaged with creating enterprise-level architectures, including architecture design documents and data flow diagrams that meet enterprise, infrastructure, security standards and guidelines while meeting the business requirements.
Converting business architecture to technology architecture and providing solutions for new integrations between platforms in the Honeywell Ecosystem.
A significant amount of your time partnering with the Security team and architects to produce low-level system integration design and security reviews and maintaining all documentation - architecture design documents, architecture dispositions for project approvals, domain architecture, and technology standards.
Leading platform and technology evaluations using feature analysis via QFD to ensure the solutions address Honeywell's business needs. Your skills and expertise will be applied across multiple domains, sub-domains and all their integrations
You will spend time interacting and leading challenging discussions with third parties vendors, clients, joint venture partners, etc. to discuss about integration, architecture, evaluation, data privacy etc.
Ability to understand business requirements/problem statements from Honeywell business functions (HR, Finance, ISC, etc.), and build enterprise architectures which meet those requirements.
Understanding of enterprise/strategic applications, security policies /standards defined in Honeywell.
Ability to create architecture patterns/ reference architectures
Service and Technical Domain-specific knowledge and skills
Effective communications and presentation skills; ability to tell a story, articulate key messages, and influence stakeholders

WHAT WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE/LEARN:
Ability to define new architecture patterns.
Understanding of Enterprise Architecture methodologies and new Technology standards.
Understanding and analyzing current trends in technology architecture technology departments about new frameworks, and also designing an IT roadmap.
Management, Administration and Architecture of MAC/JAMF environment consisting of Apple systems.
Design, enhancement and implementation of the End User Computer platform and infrastructure to support the requirements of the business with an eye for continual improvement and innovation.
Transition Honeywell towards Zero IT Touch (user self-provisioning) strategy through automated provisioning of devices and applications (Jamf)
Administration of client-related settings, configuration items, baseline modeling, collections, and deployments
Reporting of assets and applications including Custom Reports via JAMF and other
Backup/restore JAMF and related environment
Troubleshoot client health issues and maintain the client’s health across the environment stable
Develop and Maintain documentation of the current environment
Responsible for Level 3 and Level 4 Technical/Escalation Support
Partner with Site Support teams and deliver technician training for applicable tools & technologies
YOU MUST HAVE
10+ years of experience in Information Technology
7+ years of combined experience in the management, administration, and architecture of Apple Mac and MAC MDM tools (Jamf)
Supported between at least 5000 to 20000 devices in an enterprise environment.
Deep knowledge of MAC architecture and Zero-touch management and deployment
Microsoft EMS (Intune, Autopilot & Azure AD) incl. integration with Auto Pilot would be a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline
Significant experience in designing, developing, and debugging scalable End User Computing Solutions
Advanced knowledge of End Point Security
Knowledgeable of the Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment
Solid understanding of End User Device Management technologies
Solid understanding of Automated Provisioning of End User Devices
Conveys specific, observable, and/or measurable expectations for each assignment, and verifies understanding and agreement on deliverables and timeframes
Adhering to corporate behaviors
Knowledge of ServiceNow and Configuration Management Data Base
