Provide daily patient care including HIV outpatient medicine, obtain health history, and perform physical exams. Diagnose and direct counseling for each patient on a plan for treatment. Prescribe medication in accordance with Arizona statute and professional practice guidelines. Perform procedures as applicable. Arrange referrals for patients. Review incoming reports, sign, date, and follow up in a timely matter. Function as a medicine consultant in field of training to all areas of the hospital including timely consultations to medical staff members on request. Services will be provided at Valleywise Community Health Center-McDowell. Will also provide Infectious Disease inpatient medical services at Valleywise Health Medical Center.
