Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Travel to various fast food restaurants and gas stations to perform facilities and plumbing repairs. Responsibilities include identifying and fixing leaks, clogs, and broken pipes. Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate documentation using a mobile app. Candidates must be comfortable using smartphones.
Responsibilities
Travel to various locations for facilities and plumbing repairs.
Identify and repair leaks, clogs, broken pipes, and other plumbing issues.
Install FRP walls in restaurant kitchens.
Work with grease traps, floor sinks/drains, p-traps, and faucets.
Perform water heater replacements and backflow installs.
Locate pipes, clogs, and breaks using appropriate tools.
Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent service.
Document all work performed using a mobile application.
Essential Skills
Plumbing
Facilities maintenance
Construction
1+ years of plumbing experience
FRP wall installations
Grease trap and floor sink/drain maintenance
Ability to snake, jet, use a camera or scope
Water heater replacements
Backflow installs
Pipe, clog, and break locating
Team player with a good attitude
Customer service and communication skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Must have own set of basic tools
Proficiency with technology for documenting work
Willingness to learn and ask questions
Experience in commercial construction is a plus

Work Environment
Work shifts are from 8am-5pm and 8pm-5am. Employees will be provided with work uniforms, a cell phone, a gas card, and access to the company’s Home Depot account for supplies. A company vehicle will be used and taken home for all jobs. The starting time may vary depending on the work order, potentially starting as early as 3 am. Technicians will rotate being on-call for one week at a time, responsible for emergency calls during nights and weekends. The on-call schedule is provided approximately six weeks in advance, and employees are responsible for arranging coverage if they need time off during their rotation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.40 - $29.40/hr.
