This onsite position is based at our Chandler, Arizona campus and relocation assistance will be provided.

As an Electrical Project Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Be consulted for any major construction project related to facilities power systems.

Assess the feasibility of new projects.

Develop more detailed scope through field walks and collaboration with facilities operations partners and project engineers from other disciplines.

Serve as the Owner's representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolution during detailed design and construction.

Manage the performance of the Integrators Architectural and Engineering/Owners design

Consultant vendor in their discipline.

Interface and coordinate with contract design, construction, scheduling, and estimating resources

Interface with facilities staff and project managers to enable facility design efforts for their area of expertise.

Define design criteria, lead scope definition and justification, develop design concepts, and oversee completion of positioning, programming, and detailed design

Work with estimators to ensure costs are captured and project budgets are met

Improve standards and drive innovative solutions

Collaborate and share learnings with their counterparts at other sites across the globe.

Build and drive safety Culture of Caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.

In this role, activities will include:

Definition of design criteria, scope definition and justification, development of design concepts, completion of positioning, programming, and detailed design, influencing design standards, construction specifications, and operations requirements.

It will also include development of project budgets, schedules, and safety requirements and performing conceptual engineering analysis for multiple scenarios that can include high level schedule and/or budget development to help customers and stakeholders make critical business decisions based on time and cost constraints. Proficiency with reading and interpreting construction contract documents is a must have.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have at least one of the following:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with 4+ years of experience on design and construction of electrical systems.

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field with 3+ years of experience on design and construction of electrical power systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Focus on industrial, semiconductor, and cleanroom projects.

3+years of experience leading a team.

3+ years of experience with electrical systems such as medium voltage, low voltage, emergency power systems, critical (UPS) power systems, lighting systems, and heat trace systems.

Proficiency with reading and interpreting construction contract documents.

Familiarity with 1-line diagrams and BIM (3D modeling).

3+ years of experience managing project change control.

3+ years of experience with construction, start-up, and commissioning/turnover of facilities systems.

3+ years of experience with building and fire codes and hazardous occupancies is preferred.

Familiar with ATEX and EPD requirements.

Familiarity with power modeling databases such as EasyPower or SKM is preferred.

Professional Engineer status.
